Indian Bank invites applications from retired Bank Executives for engagement as
Specialised Faculty on Contract basis.
1. NUMBER OF POSTS : 5
2. SUBJECT AREAS OF REQUIREMENT :
Credit including infrastructure Financing.
Forex and Treasury
Risk Management
Marketing
Soft Skills
3. EXPERIENCE :
a. Exposure in the relevant field for a minimum period of 5 years in Senior
Management Cadre in Scale V to VII in a bank.
b. Candidates should have specialization in the applied field during the immediate
preceding 5 years.
4. Contract Period – One year which can be renewed for one more year based on
performance of the incumbent at the discretion of the Bank.
5. Nature of Job :
Preparation and Handling sessions / organizing commercial programs at Indian Bank
Management Academy for Growth and Excellence (IMAGE), Staff Training Colleges
(STCs) of the Bank, and offering consultancy services to Corporate Office.
6. AGE CRITERIA : 55 to 62 years(as on 01.07.2010)
7. Place of contractual posting :
Will be placed at IMAGE, Chennai and will be required to render services at Head Office,
Chennai, Zonal Offices and at field level (all over India) as per Bank’s requirement.
8. Remuneration and other terms and conditions :
1. Rs. 30,000/- P.M. (consolidated all inclusive).
2. The consolidated remuneration is exclusive of pension, if any, being drawn from the
bank from where retired.
3. For outstation travel / stay on official tour : TA and DA as per the eligibility of the
cadre in which they last worked in the earlier assignment.
4. Contractual services will be utilized on full-time basis on all working days with leave
facility of only Casual leave of 12 days in a calendar year (on pro-rata basis).
5. Provision of termination of contract by giving notice of 1 month from either side and
relieving shall be only after ensuring that necessary relieving formalities are duly
complied with.
6. The Bank shall have the right to renew the contract depending upon the
performance of the incumbent.
